Chai Republican Women is chartered in Washington, D.C., our nation’s Capital, from where we seek to increase the effectiveness of Republican women in the cause of good governance.
Antisemitism is exploding across the world. Israel is being demonized and condemned with the force of a global intifada. We cannot remain silent any longer! Unlike Europe in the 1930’s, we must use our voices to ACT!
Our mission is to uphold and promote American values of love of country and freedom of religion through education about Republican principles and American values. We are committed to educating others about antisemitism and confronting progressive activities that aim to destroy the tenet that all are created equal. We are staunch supporters of the Jewish State of Israel, America’s strongest ally, the sole democracy in the Middle East.
Chai is the Hebrew word for ‘life’ and is reflective of our deeply held ideals upon which this nation was founded. Committed to supporting this relationship at the federal, state and local levels, we, as patriots, devote our energies to ensuring that concern for US domestic and national security interests remain uppermost in our approach at all levels of engagement.

Women is a special club that is open to members from across this great Nation. We hold monthly meetings via Zoom with the goal of meeting in person when the opportunity arises.
The Hebrew word ‘Chai’ means ‘life. It is an important word to Jews. We toast
“L’Chaim”, “To Life!”, and we proclaim
“Am Yisrael Chai!”, which means “the Nation of Israel lives!” So by adopting the name “Chai Republican Women”, we are emphasizing our commitment and support for the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
The idea of Chai Republican Women was born after two Jewish women attended a screening of the October 7, 2023 massacre at the Embassy of Israel on March 13, 2024. Involved in arranging that meeting was the first Jewish woman to serve as President of the NFRW, past President, Ann Schockett. After months of follow-on discussions and planning, Chai Republican Women was created. Chai received its charter from NFRW in February 2025.
We are proud to offer this staunchly Republican, pro-Israel club to all likeminded women across our great Nation. We also welcome men to join us as associates. We pledge to stand against all those who seek to dilute or cancel the values we in the Republican Party hold dear as citizens of the United States of America. We proactively address critical issues such as anti-Semitism and support for the US-Israel relationship as well as committing ourselves to important Caring for America projects.

If you are not already a member of an NFRW club, then our primary, voting membership is for you! Primary membership is $50 per year. If, however, you are already a voting member of an NFRW affiliated club, and you wish to remain a primary member in that club, then you should opt for Associate membership in Chai Republican Women. This non voting membership costs $35 per year.
